{exciting news}

Well, the time has come . . . my studio will be opening sometime in April – just a short time away!!  We will be located in Downtown Ponchatoula inside Berry Town Boutique.  Hours will be by appointment only.  This will also be where I will do bridal consultations.  I’ll post more as the time draws closer.

{new website}

I’ve been wanting to seperate my weddings from my regular portrait work & I finally did it.  My new site went live last night (same address as before) – I’m still working on the portrait site, so you’ll still see some wedding stuff on there for right now.

{blue-eyed bridals}

Had another great bridal session today! She had the bluest eyes ever – very pretty. Tosha & Timmy will be getting married in one month . . . can’t wait to shoot the wedding.

This little man was such a ham in front of my camera. Had an awesome time shooting his session!!! Such manners & sweet as could be. Wish all my clients were just like him.

 

 

{in memory of david lane vitter}

I’m still in disbelieve as I write this post. I just can not believe our friend, David Vitter has died. I know many people in our community will miss him very much! David is the reason that my husband & I met – he introduced us almost 13 years ago. He was part of our wedding party, too. Since he had five beautiful daughters, he would always joke that we gave him a namesake when we named our son, David (he wasn’t actually named after David, but he would always laugh about it).

I will always have David’s memory in my heart! R.I.P David . . . . 1964 – 2007.

{another senior 2007 session}

Had the opportunity to shoot Amanda’s senior session yesterday! We had a great time throughout the shoot. Sunday was our lucky day . . . we had to cancel 3 times due to the nasty weather we’ve been having here in Southeast Louisiana!!  I am totally loving these senior sessions . . . come on seniors – I know there’s more of you out there!!
